Summary

We are researching not only current AI technologies (deep learning, transformers, diffusion models, generative AI, etc.), but also academic research and applications of next-generation AI technologies. Today's AI is created by learning a large amount of data, but this is just memorizing a large number of books. It only refers to past data and selects outputs that are considered appropriate for input, and only realizes some functions of the human brain. We aim to develop AI that further approaches and surpasses the functions of the brain with our own AI technologies, such as technologies that apply optimization techniques such as Evolutionary Computation to the design of neural networks.

In the future, people and society should not be dominated by one powerful AI made overseas. In the future, it is necessary for humans to be actively involved in educating AI and to create AI that can grow, evolve, and coexist with humans. For this purpose, we will create a large number of characteristic AIs by educating AI from a small amount of data to realize the tacit knowledge and craftsmanship of people that AI could not realize so far. And by solving things democratically and peacefully through the consultation of a large number of AIs and a large number of people, we aim for a bright future where people can use AI with peace of mind.
